INSURANCE
We are currently in-network with Aetna, Oscar Health, Oxford, United Healthcare, Cigna, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Please reach out to your insurance to verify coverage prior to your first session.
SELF - PAY
For clients wishing to utilize services without using insurance, we offer a self-pay rate of $150.00 per clinical hour.
What are the benefits of using services as a self-pay?

Insurance requires immediate diagnosis after little evaluation is completed. With self-pay, no diagnosis is required, therefore parents have control over what information goes on the child's permanent medical record.

Parents can opt in or out of further mental health evaluations, and skilled practitioners have the time to complete thorough and accurate reports.

Parents have control over what patient health information is shared with other providers and schools.

All patient health information is held in more secure confidence and cannot be released to other medical providers without a signed release.

There is more flexibility in the location of sessions, time spent during sessions, types of treatments used during sessions, how many sessions are needed, and who is able to join sessions. Self-pay avoids restrictions of insurance billing-codes and insurance treatment denials.
OUT-OF-NETWORK REIMBURSEMENT
Some families may opt into filing for out-of-network reimbursement through their insurance. All insurance policies are different and Minds at Peace Counseling Services, cannot guarantee how much, or if, your insurance will reimburse. Please call your insurance company to obtain details of your coverage. Minds at Peace Counseling Services is happy to provide a Superbill to the client in order to aid in the submission of out-of-network reimbursement. Clients are responsible for submitting documentation to the insurance company. Full payment is required at time of treatment.
